The truth about lemon water

Lemon water is often promoted as a wellness must-have, and while it’s certainly a refreshing way to stay hydrated, it also offers a modest nutrient boost thanks to its vitamin C content. Some people find that starting the day with lemon water helps support digestion or makes drinking enough water feel easier. But despite popular claims, there’s no evidence that lemon water burns fat or speeds up metabolism. It’s not a detox solution, and drinking it frequently can contribute to enamel erosion.
