Heart attacks don’t always feel like dramatic chest pain. Cardiologists warn to watch for chest pressure or tightness, shortness of breath, pain spreading to the arm, back, neck, or jaw, nausea/cold sweats, and sudden unusual fatigue or lightheadedness. Sometimes the symptoms are subtle. For example, one person went from dentist to dentist for a persistent jaw ache that turned out to be heart-related. If symptoms are new, severe, or worsening, call emergency services right away.
