Brushing mistakes to avoid

Most people brush every day, but small habits like scrubbing too hard, using the wrong brush, brushing for too little time, or missing the gumline can leave plaque behind and irritate your gums. The goal isn’t force, it’s thorough coverage of every surface for about two minutes, twice daily. For better long-term oral health, use fluoride toothpaste, choose a soft-bristle brush, clean your tongue daily, limit soda and alcohol, and visit the dentist twice a year.
