GPS jamming and spoofing, where signals are blocked or faked, affected over 1,000 commercial flights per day in 2024, sometimes giving pilots false altitude or location readings. CQE partners are developing quantum-based navigation tools that rely on highly precise sensors instead of GPS. These systems could help pilots maintain accurate positioning and improve flight safety in disrupted airspace.
