Work-related stress may be taking a serious toll on sleep among middle-aged adults. A new study published in the journal Scientific Reports suggests that heavy workloads, job insecurity, long hours, and difficulty disconnecting after work can make it harder to fall asleep, stay asleep, and feel rested the next day. Over time, consistently poor sleep may affect mood, concentration, productivity, and overall health, highlighting the importance of managing workplace stress and protecting time for recovery.
