How weather quietly impacts your health

Weather affects your body in more ways than most people realize. A sudden drop in temperature can tighten blood vessels and raise blood pressure, while extreme heat can cause dehydration, fatigue, dizziness, and worsen heart or kidney problems. Changes in air pressure are often linked to headaches, migraines, joint stiffness, and sinus pressure. Rainy or cloudy days can reduce sunlight exposure, affecting mood, energy, sleep, and vitamin D levels. Wind can spread pollen, dust, and pollutants, triggering allergies and respiratory symptoms. These effects can be subtle, but paying attention to weather patterns may help explain why some symptoms appear out of nowhere.
