Experimental cholesterol drug may protect against Alzheimer’s

New results from a large clinical trial suggest that an experimental drug originally developed for cardiovascular disease may also help prevent Alzheimer’s. The findings indicate the treatment could reduce markers associated with cognitive decline, offering a potential dual benefit. Researchers caution that further studies are needed to confirm its safety and effectiveness in targeting Alzheimer’s.
