Excessive gaming linked to poor diet and sleep

A recent paper published in the journal Nutrition reported that individuals who spent more than 10 hours per week playing video games were more likely to have poorer diet quality, higher body mass, and lower sleep quality. The study suggests that gaming itself may not necessarily be harmful, but that excessive gaming time may be associated with less healthy daily routines overall. Building healthier habits, such as taking regular breaks, limiting late-night gaming, and choosing more nutritious snacks, may help support overall wellbeing.
