World’s first live AI-assisted brain tumor operation in London hospital

Neurosurgeons at University College London Hospital have successfully removed a brain tumor in what is being described as the world’s first live AI-assisted brain surgery. The surgical team was aided by real-time AI analysis of camera footage, which helped identify critical brain anatomy that needed to be avoided while removing the tumor.
