Sweating when you’re nervous is a natural response to stress. When you feel anxious or uncomfortable, your body activates its fight-or-flight response, releasing stress hormones like adrenaline. This stimulates your sweat glands, particularly in areas like your palms, underarms, and feet. Unlike sweating caused by heat or exercise, nervous sweating can happen even when you’re feeling cool. While it can be uncomfortable, it’s a normal way your body responds to stressful situations. Relaxation techniques, deep breathing, and managing stress can help reduce it.
