Taking a break from alcohol for Dry January can lead to more than just better sleep. Even a short period without drinking may support healthier blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure, improved insulin sensitivity, better energy, and reduced strain on the liver. For many people, the month-long reset can also make it easier to notice drinking habits and build a healthier relationship with alcohol going forward.
