A recent study published in the journal Nature Communications, has revealed promising results from using stem cell therapy to treat people suffering from spinal cord injuries and paralysis. This innovative approach offers new hope for enhanced mobility and quality of life for affected individuals. Conducted as a phase 1 clinical trial at Mayo Clinic, the research not only prioritizes safety but also shows significant improvements in patientsโ€™ conditions, highlighting its effectiveness as a potential therapy. Notably, seven out of ten patients demonstrated improvements, with no serious adverse events being reported after stem cell treatment.
