A recent study published in the International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health found that people can absorb dozens of different pesticides through fruits and vegetables contaminated during farming. While the levels vary depending on the produce and growing conditions, researchers say the findings highlight how common pesticide exposure is in everyday diets. The study raises questions about farming practices, regulation, and whether steps like rinsing, peeling, or buying organic could help reduce exposure.
