Improved posture may be linked to better mood and decision making

Good posture may do more than prevent back pain, it could also influence how we feel, think, and make decisions. New research suggests that sitting upright may subtly improve mood, increase confidence, and encourage more thoughtful risk-taking. The way we position our bodies can influence our psychological state, potentially affecting how we respond to challenges and evaluate opportunities. While good posture is no substitute for healthy habits or emotional well-being, something as simple as sitting up straight may offer a small but meaningful boost to both your mindset and decision-making.
