Drinking alcohol before taking a nap on a plane may seem relaxing, but it can negatively affect your body during and after the flight. Alcohol combined with lower cabin oxygen levels can reduce sleep quality, worsen dehydration, and increase fatigue, headaches, and jet lag. It may also contribute to circulation problems and make recovery after travel more difficult. Staying hydrated and resting naturally can help you arrive feeling healthier and more refreshed.
