Ageing does not have to be seen as a steady process of decline. Research suggests that people who hold more positive beliefs about getting older may feel younger, remain more active, experience better health, and even live longer. Challenging ageist stereotypes can influence how people care for themselves, approach new experiences, and respond to physical changes over time. By viewing ageing as a stage of continued growth rather than inevitable deterioration, people may support both their wellbeing and longevity.
