A recent study published in the journal Food Chemistry: Molecular Sciences suggests that cinnamon, which is commonly used as a spice and dietary supplement, may interact with certain prescription medications. The authors advise those taking regular medications to consult their healthcare provider before using cinnamon supplements and warn against overconsumption of it, especially in individuals with existing health conditions.
