Why outdoor workouts are better than indoor ones

A recent study published in the journal Scientific Reports suggests that “green” or outdoor physical activity can improve memory and concentration significantly more than indoor physical activity. Outdoor exercise stimulates both your mind and body and maximizes the benefits of your workout in comparison to indoor exercise. It provides opportunities for increased exposure to sunlight, promoting the production of essential vitamin D. Being active in a refreshing natural environment also allows you to experience greater mental health benefits. With that said, it is highly recommended to opt for green exercise and take advantage of all the benefits it has to offer.
